First photo edited on IPad
I am a big fan of control and precision when editing my pictures, so my IPad 2 has been an internet and gaming device-only, since I got it.
Yesterday a devil Got into me, and I thought I would try out photoediting on Ipad.
After a quick little research-session, I decided to go with the app called Photogene, which actually have a decent selection of tools; curves, histogram, dodge/burn, saturation, color, exposure and brightness/contrast, sharpening, clonetool and healing brush along with text and a lot of preset filters and a cropping tool.
It is really ipad intuitiv, and it is plesent to edit with you fingertip – but sometimes it lacks precision when you use sliding bars.
I also missed layers and layermasks a lot! And of cause the biggest issue; Jpg-land, for a raw-only type of guy, that nearly triggered a small attack of anxiety.
But after a couple of big breaths I was ready to edit a jpgimage.
This was the result, and Im actually quiet satisfied. Maybe because I havent had the oppertunity to see it on a decent screen yet, or maybe because it is a good app?
